Superior BioProducts Inc. has acquired an industrial building in the town of Chapleau for storing of their product (Canada Yew) until it is shipped to port for processing. The Canada Yew is being cultivated from all over the superior east region. The Townships of Chapleau and White River, through the financial assistance of the MNDMF’s Northern Communities Investment Readiness initiative, completed the mapping of Canada Yew throughout the North Algoma and Superior East regions.
